The Technion password has an expiration date of one year from the last moment it was changed. If you don’t change it once a year, you will eventually get blocked from your Technion account.
If you have a forwarding option activated in your Technion mail then you will still receive mails sent to your Technion mail, however you won’t be able to access other services supplied by the Technion.

Pay attention:
1. Every password change causes your old password related to the Technion account to be invalid. Changing your account’s password will require you to do the same process with every Technion’s application.
2. You can’t update your password through the Microsoft outlook services
