Run the downloaded file and select a language. KEEPASS supports Hebrew, but the display language cannot be changed to Hebrew. Click OK
Please check "I accept the agreement" and click Continue
Check "Create a Desktop icon" to create a desktop shortcut
When starting to use the software, a password-protected database must be set. This database will contain all the passwords that will be entered later, so it is important to choose as strong a password as possible. We recommend that you review the guidelines for choosing a strong password
After installation, run the software for the first time and press ENABLE
Click the square "NEW" to create the database file
Here you can rename the file and choose which folder to save it to.
We recommend that you save the file to a folder that has a backup
Choose a password and click OK
Add a username and password entry
On the right there are categories by which the passwords can be sorted. In addition, another group can be created according to existing needs.
To add a new password to the system, select one of the folders and click the right mouse button. Various options will be opened and in order to insert a new entry, use "Add Entry"
When creating a new record, enter the following information:
Title: Record name
Password: Selected password
Repeat: Repeat the selected password
URL: The URL to which the password is intended
When done click OK
:Once created, the record will look like this
To use a password, right-click on the record (as in the picture) and select
"copy password". Then "paste" where you want
The same can be done for copying the "username"
