All Technion users – students of all degrees, academic and administrative staff – are required to create a personal Technion user account upon starting their studies or employment at the Technion.
The personal user account will be used by the student or staff member in accessing all Technion online services.

Open a new user account:
Opening a new user account and performing all the account maintenance operations are done through the CIS Division Computer Accounts site.
Please note: Make sure you have the personal secret code sent to you via email
(for students: this is also the initial password for the Moodle system).

Steps in opening the account:
(1) On the main page, select “Missing: login/password”
(2) Enter your TEUDAT ZEHUT number* and personal secret code in the appropriate fields and click “Continue”.
*Nine digits must be entered. Enter the check digit (SIFRAT BIKORET) if necessary.
(3) Now, choose Open a new account.
(4-1) Students: Choose a username as desired from the options shown in the drop down list.
(4-2) Academic and administrative staff: The username is created for you by the system.
(5) Now, a personal password must be set for the user account.
The password must be at least 8 characters long and contain at least three of the following four groups:
Uppercase English letters, lowercase English letters, digits, special characters (@, #, $%, :).
Do not include your first name, last name, account name, English word from the dictionary, or subsequent characters (123 for example).
(6) The new account will be Available for use the next day.
