Here are a number of steps to solve problems related to playing videos in the various Technion systems and in general:
1.Set Windows Media Player as your default player:
1.In the operating system Windows 8.
2.In the operating system Windows 10.
2.Connecting to the secure Technion network (TechSec) within the Technion campus (“streaming” video is not supported on the public network).
3.Change Player Settings:
1.Open WMP Player and press the ALT key to open the options menu.
2.Select Tools and then “Options” (Tools>Options).
3.Under the “Network” label under “Protocols for MMS URLs“, make sure RTSP/UDP is turned off and inactive (there is no check mark next to it).
4.Confirm the change, reboot the player, and try playing the video again.
4.Getting a physical copy of the disc:
1.Write down the relevant course number you want to watch.
2.Prepare a flash drive with enough space.
3.Please go to the Central Library (named after Elishar).
4.Ask for the disc of the desired course.
5.Insert the disc into your computer’s drive in the library.
6.Connect the flash drive and copy the video files from the drive to it.
7.Return the course disk to the library.
